Compare

Most "best social media tool" lists compare things that don't do the same job. A scheduler, a clipping tool and an AI video generator all get called "social media software", and then people wonder why the cheap one didn't solve their problem.

So this page sorts the market by job first, then by price. VidVertex is on it, in the category it actually belongs to — and for most of these tools the honest answer isn't "switch", it's "use both, and here's which does what".

Four kinds of tool

Schedulers & suitesPlan, publish and measure content you already haveBuffer, Hootsuite, Later, Metricool, Sprout Social, Sendible, Agorapulse, SocialPilot, SocialBee, Vista Social, Publer, Pallyy, ContentStudio, Loomly, Planable, Zoho Social, Postiz, Mixpost

AI generators with auto-postGenerate the video and publish itAutoShorts.ai, Blotato

The last row is the one that's usually missing. Schedulers distribute one file. Clipping tools produce one file. If you run six brands on nine platforms, you need fifty-four files that are not copies of each other — and something has to make them.

What ten brands actually cost

Ten brands on five platforms is fifty connected accounts. Here's what the month looks like — and what you get for it.

Tool Per month What it delivers
post-bridge Growth $59 Publishes 50 accounts. Files must already exist.
Postiz Ultimate $99 (self-hosted: server costs only) 100 channels
Zernio ~$168 50 accounts with scheduling, analytics, inbox, API
Publer Professional $180 50 accounts, every 10th free (45 × $4)
SocialBee Pro50 $179 50 profiles, 10 workspaces
SocialPilot Ultimate + 10 extra ~$240 50 accounts, unlimited users
Sendible Elite $299 90 profiles, unlimited users
Hootsuite Professional $199 per user Unlimited accounts
Sprout Social Professional $299 per seat Unlimited profiles
Mixpost Pro $299 once Self-hosted, unlimited
VidVertex €49 (+ whatever you publish through) Renders 50 different videos

Every tool above the last line distributes one file. None of them makes fifty. To get fifty distinct versions elsewhere you'd add a per-video or per-minute editing tool on top — or build them by hand, which is the evening most people are trying to buy back.

And the row that doesn't move: VidVertex charges the same for fifty accounts as for one. Rendering happens on your hardware, so your scale doesn't cost us anything.

Where VidVertex fits — and where it doesn't

VidVertex is a production line, not a scheduler. It takes one piece of footage and renders a separate video per brand and platform — each with its own burned-in captions, hook, overlays, background, endcard and text, in the brand's own language. Then it hands those files to whatever publishes them: the Zernio API or the Metricool API for direct scheduling, or a Zernio or Metricool CSV for bulk import.

9platforms
unlimitedbrands, renders and posts
2devices per license
0per-post fees

What it doesn't do, plainly:

  • No analytics. Your scheduler has those.
  • No inbox, no comment or DM management.
  • No team approval workflows. It's a single-operator app, licensed for 2 devices.
  • Windows only, running locally. No web app, no Mac build, no phone app.
  • No free tier. The VidVertex Downloader is free forever; the app itself is a subscription.
  • It doesn't post by itself. Publishing runs through Zernio or Metricool — the two API modes schedule directly, the two CSV modes write an import file — and those accounts are priced separately.

If that list rules it out, one of the tools above is genuinely the better buy, and this page just saved you a month.

Head-to-head

One page per tool, same structure every time: a quotable verdict up top, what the other tool does better, what VidVertex does that it doesn't, how to use them together, prices with their check date.

FAQ

Is VidVertex a Buffer or Hootsuite alternative?

Not really. They publish and measure; VidVertex produces the videos. If you post one video per brand per day across several brands, you'll likely keep a scheduler and add VidVertex in front of it.

Do I need a scheduler at all with VidVertex?

You need something that publishes. That can be Zernio (direct API scheduling, first two accounts free), Metricool (direct posting on its API, which needs an Advanced plan), or a CSV import into either of them.

Why is per-account pricing such a big deal?

Because multi-brand operators feel it twice: once per account, and again per platform inside that account. Ten brands on five platforms is fifty billable lines almost everywhere. VidVertex charges one subscription; only the publishing layer scales.

What's the cheapest legitimate way to post to many accounts?

As of September 2026: the platforms' own schedulers if you have very few accounts, post-bridge's flat bundles or Zernio's tiered per-account pricing if you have many, and self-hosted Postiz or Mixpost if you can run a server.

Are these prices current?

They were re-checked on every vendor's own pricing page on the date in the pill at the top of this page. Pricing in this market changes often — check theirs before deciding.

Ready to multiply your output?

VidVertex runs on your Windows machine — your content, your accounts, no per-post fees. One subscription covers every brand, platform and language you run.
