Labelling AI content
Anything generated here can be AI output: titles, descriptions, first comments, hook and endcard lines, caption translations — and the voiceover, which is synthetic speech. The transcript itself is a local transcription of what is actually said, not generated text.
Whether a post carries an AI label is decided at publishing time, and every platform asks the person posting to declare it themselves:
- TikTok — the AI-generated content switch in the post options.
- Instagram and Facebook — Advanced settings → AI info.
- YouTube — the "altered or synthetic content" question in the upload checks, which adds the disclosure to the video.
VidVertex does not set that flag for you: neither the Zernio nor the Metricool interface carries a field for it, so posts scheduled from here have to be labelled in the platform's own app or planner. The rules are tightening — the EU's AI Act obliges providers of generative systems to mark synthetic output from 2 August 2026 — so check each platform's current help page rather than this list.
