Post types beyond video
Which post types reach which platform through the upload plan:
| Post type | Platforms |
|---|---|
| Video | all nine |
| Text (optionally with images) | Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky |
| Carousel | Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky |
| Story | Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat |
Unsupported combinations are skipped with a log line and a pre-flight note, never an error. Duplicate detection for file-less posts runs over the post text (and the first image).
A story posts one file as it is: the stack's main content, the card the Content tab calls Story media. Stories carry no caption and no first comment. The Zernio CSV can only express Instagram stories — Facebook story rows are skipped there with a pointer to the API mode, while a Snapchat story rides through on Snapchat's own default.
A Snapchat channel needs a Snapchat Public Profile on the connected account — a personal account can't receive scheduled posts.
Snapchat carries one more rule of its own: a video goes to Spotlight (5–60 seconds, description shown up to 160 characters — pre-flight warns above that, nothing is ever truncated). Spotlight is expressible in the Zernio API mode only: the bulk CSV has no Snapchat content-type column, so those rows are skipped with a pointer to the API mode. The Metricool modes have no Snapchat network at all and skip it.
Facebook video posts go out as Reels — explicitly typed, so they land in the Reels tab and ranking and carry their own Reel title (the post title). Reels take 3–60 seconds on the scheduling route; pre-flight warns outside that window. The one exception is the Zernio bulk CSV, which has no Facebook content-type column: its rows post as feed videos (any length) with a note in the run log.
