The CSV's safe twin
A CSV cell starting with =, +, - or @ runs as a formula when opened in
Excel — and AI-written captions do start that way. The export CSV stays
untouched (it is the post text the importer reads), and VidVertex writes a
review copy next to it (…_review.xlsx, every cell forced to text). The log
links it as Safe to open in Excel.
Rebuilding one import CSV from history
A run's CSV holds that run's rows only, so uploads spread over several runs — an abort, a few stragglers, a retry — never produce one importable file. Rebuild one from the history instead:
- In the Upload settings panel head, click the restore icon: Rebuild import CSV from history.
- Pick the CSV type — Metricool CSV or Zernio CSV.
- Set Uploads since (how far back to look) and Schedule from (the first day of the new window). The preview counts the rows as you change them.
- Rebuild CSV writes the file.
The rebuild re-exports every recorded successful upload of that mode into one file, reusing the media links already recorded — nothing is uploaded again, nothing is posted, no history is written and no stack leaves the upload list.
Three gaps are logged rather than hidden: cover frames were never recorded and are missing from rebuilt rows, a Metricool post with several images recorded only its first link and is skipped, and a row whose rendered file is gone is dropped.
