Output templates and GPU encoding

Output templates

Templates define resolution, frame rate, codec and quality. The built-in Default matches what short-form platforms expect and can't be deleted; you can add your own templates (Settings → Video settings) and pick one per stack (Video tab).

Setting The Default template
Resolution 1080 × 1920 (9:16)
Frame rate 25 fps
Codec H.264
Can be changed no — add your own template beside it

GPU encoding

VidVertex detects a capable NVIDIA card and uses hardware encoding (NVENC) automatically; otherwise it encodes on the CPU. Same output, different speed. Settings → Render settings shows which encoder is active and why — including the one case that used to be silent, an NVIDIA driver too old for the bundled ffmpeg. The randomizer pass encodes with the same encoder, so the GPU gain isn't lost at the last step.
