Google Drive setup (for the Metricool modes)
Metricool takes media as public links, not as file uploads. VidVertex therefore hosts each rendered file on your Google Drive and hands Metricool the link. That needs a one-time connection between VidVertex and your Google account — about fifteen minutes, once.
01Why this is a one-time choreGoogle only lets desktop apps talk to Drive through an OAuth client that the account owner creates — there is no shared VidVertex key you could paste.02Create the OAuth clientOpen the Google Cloud Console (console.cloud.google.com) with the Google account whose Drive should host the files.03Connect VidVertexSettings → Upload settings, tab Metricool API or Metricool (Drive + CSV) — the Drive fields sit on both and share one connection.04What an upload run does nowIn Metricool (Drive + CSV): every rendered file is uploaded to Drive and shared by link, the Metricool bulk-upload CSV gets a row with that link and the texts,…05If something goes wrongNearly every Drive problem is one of six, and each has a one-line fix — find the message you are seeing in the left column and work across the row.
