Post types: video, text, carousel, story
A stack's post type is chosen at creation and decides what the stack is:
| Post type | What it produces | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Video | one rendered file per brand × platform | every platform the brand posts to |
| Text | the description is the post; up to 10 images on the Images (optional) tab, each platform taking what it allows (X and Bluesky 4, Threads and Facebook 10) | Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky |
| Carousel | an ordered image set — the Images tab holds the slides | Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky |
| Story | one image or video posted as-is, without caption or first comment | Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat |
TIP
Carousel slides have no single right aspect: Instagram favors 4:5, TikTok wants 9:16. Pick the one your main channel uses.
Text, carousel and story stacks show a reduced tab set (no canvas — a post mock instead) and skip the render pipeline entirely; the upload plan builds their posts directly. The brand & channel map locks platforms that can't take the stack's post type and names the ones that can. All four types work with presets and the assembly line.
